How WowPak Approaches Privacy
Six commitments that underpin every data decision we make at WowPak. The full legal text below takes precedence over this summary.
Data Minimisation
We collect only the personal data that is strictly necessary to operate the WowPak platform and deliver our services. We do not harvest data speculatively or beyond stated purposes.
No Data Sales
WowPak does not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third-party advertisers, data brokers, or any commercial entity for direct marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Encryption & Security
All data in transit is protected by SSL/TLS encryption. Sensitive account information is stored using industry-standard hashing and encryption measures within secured infrastructure.
User Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or request deletion of your personal data held by WowPak, subject to legal retention obligations and applicable law.
Defined Retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. We have defined retention schedules for each data category.
Full Transparency
This Privacy Policy clearly explains every category of data we collect, why we collect it, and who may receive it — with no hidden clauses or ambiguous language designed to obscure our practices.
Complete Privacy Policy
The binding text of WowPak's Privacy Policy. Please read each section with care.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how WowPak ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the online gaming information platform accessible at wowpak.cam ("Platform"), collects, uses, stores, shares and protects the personal data of individuals ("User", "you", "your") who access or register on the Platform.
WowPak operates as an English-language online gaming and sports betting information resource primarily serving users across Pakistan, including in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and other cities throughout the country. We are committed to responsible and transparent data handling in accordance with applicable data protection principles.
By accessing the Platform or creating an Account, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy and consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described herein. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
This Policy is to be read alongside WowPak's Terms & Conditions and Responsible Gambling Policy, both of which are incorporated by reference.

WowPak processes Personal Data on the following legal bases:
- Contractual Necessity: Processing required to create and maintain your Account, provide Platform services and fulfil obligations under the Terms & Conditions.

- Consent: Where we rely on consent for specific processing activities (such as marketing communications), you retain the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Payment Provider Disclosure: References to Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah on the WowPak Platform are contextual and educational only. WowPak does not share your Personal Data with these providers unless you initiate a transaction through their services. Their data handling is governed solely by their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
WowPak retains Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law. The following general retention principles apply:
- Account Data: Retained for the duration of your Account and for a period following account closure as required by legal and regulatory obligations (typically a minimum of five years for AML compliance purposes).

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, Personal Data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised in accordance with WowPak's data lifecycle procedures.

Minors & Underage Access
The WowPak Platform is strictly intended for adults aged 18 years and above, or the higher minimum age required by the relevant operator or applicable jurisdiction. WowPak does not knowingly collect Personal Data from individuals under the applicable minimum age.
If WowPak becomes aware that Personal Data has been collected from an underage individual without verifiable parental or guardian consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such data and close the associated Account. Any balances or bonuses accrued on an underage account will be forfeit.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to use parental control software and to monitor internet use by minors in their care to prevent access to gambling information platforms.
Pakistan-Specific Data Context
WowPak's primary user base is located in Pakistan. The following Pakistan-specific data provisions apply:
12.1 No Government Endorsement. WowPak does not claim to be licensed, registered or endorsed by any Pakistani government authority, including the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the State Bank of Pakistan, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), or any provincial body. This Policy does not constitute a claim of regulatory approval in Pakistan.
12.2 Identity Documents. CNIC (Computerised National Identity Card) numbers and copies are collected solely for account verification purposes. They are stored securely and are not shared with any third party except as required by applicable law or for KYC verification with authorised identity verification service providers.
12.3 Payment Context. References to Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah are made purely as familiar payment context for Pakistani users. None of these providers are data controllers on behalf of WowPak. Their handling of transaction data is governed by their own privacy policies. WowPak does not share user data with these providers for marketing purposes.
12.4 No Legal Advice. This Policy does not constitute legal advice regarding the applicability of Pakistani data protection law, gambling law or any other regulation. Users are responsible for seeking independent legal guidance as appropriate.
International Data Transfers
WowPak may use service providers and infrastructure located outside Pakistan. Where Personal Data is transferred to jurisdictions that may not offer the same level of data protection as Pakistan, WowPak takes steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including:
- Contractual data protection clauses with Data Processors requiring them to protect Personal Data to standards equivalent to those applied by WowPak.
- Transfers only to service providers whose data protection practices WowPak has assessed as adequate for the categories of data being transferred.
- Technical security measures applied to data at rest and in transit regardless of where processing occurs.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your Personal Data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence. WowPak will not transfer Personal Data internationally in a manner that materially reduces the protections described in this Policy.
Amendments to This Policy
WowPak may update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data practices, legal obligations or Platform features. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the date of the most recent revision.
For material changes to this Policy — particularly those that expand the categories of data collected, introduce new processing purposes, or alter User rights — WowPak will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice to registered Users via the email address associated with their Account, where practicable.
Your continued use of the Platform after the publication of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with any amendment, you must cease using the Platform and may submit a data deletion request under Section 10.
